Maarten van Wersch - Interim Manager Owner at Palladion Consultants

It’s my burning passion to work together. This is also the reason why I have become an interim (project) manager and an entrepeneur. New ideas and initiatives grow by working together and by making full-use of each staffs expertise.

A concerned manager ‘links its department to the outside’ and ‘creates the framework in which the employees’ (in most cases highly educated professionals) can do their jobs. It’s of a major importance to facilitate the employees hereby continuously with the most appropriate tools. This opinion is based on the idea that a manager has to be serviceable to its employees, as a coach, a counselor and a decision maker ‘all in one’.

But above all a manager should have the ongoing courage to change, this of course within practical and realistic goals! The continuing and recurrent focus is ‘to improve the quality of the process’ and ‘to promote professionalism over and over again’. This to ensure the forecast to the strategic future.

As an interim-, project-, change manager I do bridge ‘analytical’ and ‘problem solving skills’ with a high degree of creativity and flexibility. In my dynamic career I have cared various management / business activities in both the public and the private sector.
